I always enjoy taking pictures of sunsets.. You only have about 15 minutes to get the pictures that you want.. You have to work fast, and usually you have to decide your shots before the sunrise or sunset starts.. Something special happend to me on the flight to vegas.. I was just pulling out of Houston as the sun was setting. The sky was very beautiful, and very colorful.. It is almost a 3 hour flight from houston to vegas.. I kept looking at the sunset knowing it wont last very long, and enjoy the beauty of it before it goes away from so high up . This sunset was special.. Some how we followed it at the right angle, and that Sunset lasted for about 90 minutes.. Finally darkness came on, and the dark turned into the MASSIVE lights of Vegas. It was a very special flight..Something that I will never forget. I will always think of that sunset as the "Forever Sunset"

Sometimes photographers can just get into a creative slump.. It can happen to everyone. I feel that I let it happen from time to time.. Today I was on a flight to vegas, looking DOWN at all the beautiful clouds.. It brought a smile to my face because as a photographer I am always looking UP at the clouds for pictures..It was a different way for me to look at them.. I was just a speck in the sky wondering if anyone has taken the time to look up at an airplane that was flying over their city.. The best key to getting out of a slump is look at things a different way than you normally do..
